GENERAL DATA
The XtreamPhase® Model 110HXP horizontal liquid/liquid coalescer vessel is designed to take a two-phase liquid stream and removed the dispersed phase from the
continuous fluid stream. It is available in all major design codes and certifications from 10” through 84” diameter sizes. The initial cartridges will be shipped separately outside the
vessel and will need to be installed prior to startup.The vessel is a single stage design with baskets welded into a cartridge support plate that the replaceable filter
cartridges are installed inside of. The 110XP utilizes high flow style coalescer cartridges that flow inside-to-outside. The cartridges include a handled end cap with PECOSeal™
technology so there is no need for tools when sealing making them a safe, user friendly choice while also reducing maintenance time and money. A quick-opening closure is
provided on the vessel in order to changeout cartridges. This unit is designed to operate for long periods of time completely unattended except for a periodic draining of the
sump of units not equipped with automatic draining devices.
The cartridges in the vessel will become dirty or “spent” as solids collect on the cartridge. As this happens the differential pressure across the inlet and outlet flange
connections of the vessel will begin to increase. The vessel should be serviced once the cartridges have reached the recommended change-out differential pressure.
